Being in this multicultural country, we are lucky as we have more than 10 food genres to choose from everyday. If you are a fan of Naan and Tandoori, Naan Corner is definitely where you should be! This stall has more than 30 years of experience in Ampang, beside SPCA. Since our parents' generation, they had been offering authentic Naan and Taandoori, as well as other dishes such as Nasi Kukus, Mee Rebus and others. If you have an international friend who wishes to try Malaysian Indian-Muslim cuisine, this is definitely where you should bring them.
The specialty of this shop is definitely its Naan and Tandoori Chicken. The Naan has abundant amount of sesame on top, which gives it a unique scent and crunchy feeling. For Tandoori lovers, their Tandoori Chicken is a MUST TRY. With or without the sauce, it is acceptable as the chicken is not dry at all.

Apart from Naan and Tandoori, we also loved their Nasi Briyani and Fried Lala. Nasi Briyani was fragrant with pieces of onion and garlic, and the mixture of yellow, orange and white colours is enough to make you feel hungry! If you want to try Naan and Tandoori as well as Nasi Briyani at the same time, it is better if you could specify to the waiter to make small servings. If you are a seafood lover (even if you are not), you must give the Fried Lala a try, as the sauce is AWESOME! Not too spicy, not too sweet, not too salty, just nice! Jskee is not a fan of clams, but he loved the lalas here too, just imagine the awesomeness of the taste~~

Our drink. Large watermelon juice |
Our menu of the night was:
Naan x1,
Tandoori Chicken x2 pcs,
Fried Lala x1 serving,
Nasi Briyani x1 serving,
Papadom x1 serving,
Large Watermelon Juice x1 (to share among 2 of us)
Price: RM 33.00
The price rounded to RM16.50 per person. Quite reasonable amount for us, as we got to fill up our tummy and satisfy our taste buds at the same time. If you don't like the dishes listed above, they have more than 20 other dishes to choose from, or you may order the ala carte noodles or rice which they cook upon ordering.
Location wise, it is highly accessible and easy to find. On your Waze / GPS, you can simply key in "SPCA" and Naan Corner is just located among the row of stalls beside the SPCA building, which is currently under renovation. However, parking is scarce, you may try your luck by making a few turns. It's best if you arrive early.
