Restaurant Carbon Brasa (炭世界) @ Puchong, Selangor

This restaurant is located opposite IOI Mall within the IOI Boulevard area. Due to lack of parking space in the area, it took us quite some time to finally decide on visiting this restaurant. From outside, it is not hard to see that the restaurant's decoration is based on a vintage theme.

As it was dinner time during our visit, the restaurant was full of people, especially families. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, which the outdoor area automatically became the smoking zone. As we both are non-smokers, we always prefer to be seated indoors.

Just like many other Malaysian restaurants, we have to write the code of our order. Minimises human resources and reduce errors.

Here is a glimpse of the menu. As you can see, Carbon Brasa is an Asian - Western fusion restaurant. The food ranges from lamb chop, steak to fried noodles and rice. As you can see from the menu below, the price ranges from RM 8.90 to RM 20.90. Of course, this depends on what you order.

We ordered Fried Spaghetti and Thai Fried Rice respectively. Fried Spaghetti tasted good, expect that it was a bit oily for our liking. Thai Fried Rice tasted good too. As you may see from the photos below, the portion of the food was indeed quite big. Both of us struggled to finish the food. My Fried Spaghetti was RM 9.90, Thai Fried Rice was RM 9.90, Three Layered Coffee and Carrot Milk were our beverages for RM 5.50 and RM 6.50 respectively. Total cost for both of us was RM 31.80, which was around RM 15.90 per person. Considered reasonable for a cafe.
